Site Surveys

No matter what the venue – a hotel, a school, a campground, a shop or office – we need to find out the particulars of your property so that we can design the best possible network for your needs that is tailor-made to give you the best performance while minimizing potential problems such as dead spots and interference. Therefore, as the first part of our process for designing a new or updated wireless network, we perform a site survey, which typically includes the following steps:

1. Property walk-through

Hospitality WiFi International and/or one of its installation partners will walk through the property to gather information for a proper installation.

2. Identification of building layout and construction

During the property walk-through, Hospitality WiFi International and/or one of its installation partners will identify the layout of the building, as well as the type of construction, to aid in preparation for a proper installation.

3. Identification of potential difficulties for installation

During the property walk-through, Hospitality WiFi International and/or one of its installation partners will attempt to identify potential difficulties that may hinder the installation process.

4. Location of potential installation points for equipment

During the property walk-through, Hospitality WiFi International and/or one of its installation partners will locate favorable locations to install the necessary wireless networking devices.

5. Survey of the property for proper signal coverage

During the property walk-through, Hospitality WiFi International and/or one of its installation partners will test the signal strength of access points to ensure proper cell coverage.

6. Create design layout (upon signed agreement)

From the information gathered during the property walk-through, Hospitality WiFi International will create a design layout of the locations wireless network. This will only be created and given to the customer after an agreement is signed.
